That's not what they said, though. They said that pronouns should match presentation and not be an extra random thing to remember (a second name, effectively), and especially not a second name that can change on a daily basis.
That is: feel however you want, but expect to be referred to according to how you present.
There's nothing that says that trans people aren't who they are, just that pronouns are for society, not for the individual. The point is arguable, but there's little point trying to blame Nitro for a position they don't hold.
