That's quite offensive.

Daniel is suggesting a solution of it merely being acceptable to use "they" instead of other pronouns, so people like him don't have to have their faces rubbed in their disability every time they open their mouths.

You're calling it a "not-problem that only you have". Well, newsflash, he's not the only one. And even if he was the only one, don't you think the appropriate response is to be supportive: "Sure, yeah, that's a great solution if you find it a major burden--everyone really should be okay with that."?

It doesn't need to be forced on everyone (and Daniel didn't say it should be, just suggested it was a reasonable evolution). It just is helpful for it to be okay.
