The 1850s are calling you. Apparently, the Southern states would like to retain your services so you can explain to those pesky "abolitionists" what the U.S. Constitution does and does not say (in 1850). Despite what Douglass or anyone else says.
Once you get off the call, maybe you can recognize that you've adopted a form of argument--I know it's popular right now--that isn't worth considering unless your only concern is whether or not you can file a lawsuit right now.
