The system in the United States is set up to have many avenues for people to avoid authoritarianism and theocracy from a "sociopathic minority".

You need to actually avail yourself of those avenues, rather than conveniently declaring that your ideas are majority ones, but never putting this up for a test, and instead advocating for accomplishing through violence what you can't accomplish through democratic mechanisms.
