This is great! Well argued, and it agrees with the reading I've done on the topic too. The only mild quibble I have is that I think the impression you give of the link to Marxism is overdone (e.g. because the centering of anything except the critical approach and a desire for a just society happened in Critical Theory and Critical Legal Studies from which CRT sprang) , and the link to Critical Theory that is different from Marxism is underdone (and I think this is important, because the reason you need to put down the lens of CRT instead of wielding it all the time is largely because of the epistemological defects of how Critical Theory structures its inquiries, and which CRT has largely inherited). But these are small quibbles; I think you've pretty much hit the nail on the head here, and provided enough support so others can check for themselves that yes, indeed, the nail was hit head-on.
