Ugh, again? I've explained at least twice why totality isn't possible.

I fully agree that the myth of Jeffersonian sainthood is a problem, especially (but not only) for those who learn the truth and realize that not only wasn't he a saint but that people who one holds dear were wronged in horrible ways by him.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to engage with this topic. I'm perplexed and frustrated by you saying things like, "I totally get your position, but I believe such-and-so" when such-and-so is my outlook also and is fully consistent with everything I've said. But we're not making any progress at this point, so I just want to reiterate that I appreciate your investment of time and effort. Best of luck!
