You just argued, compellingly, that the moderation and thwarting was keeping the spotlight on them.

Your example was Harper's New Monthly Magazine, not Harper's New Monthly Magazine plus banning a bunch of the yellow press.

So I don't get this twist in favor of moderation at the end. Didn't you just tell us it won't work, and why?!
