Upwards of 1/3 of white non-immigrant citizens of the U.S. complete college. It’s mathematically impossible for your six-fold and eight-fold higher rates for Chinese and Indian immigrants to be correct.

Also, why don’t you contrast Asian and Hispanic immigrants? (Or Asian and northern European immigrants?)

It’s possible for there to be some truth to the “model minority” claim _and_ for there to be truth to the “there is nonetheless racism” claim. (It also likely varies by profession — for instance, Hollywood provides vaguely equal opportunities for Caucasians and African-Americans these days, but it doesn’t for Asians or Hispanics.)

If this is a “rally the base”-type post it’s fine. But if it’s a “convince the open-minded”, it needs some work.
