Wait, you literally never have had someone give a valid counterargument, with valid assumptions, to something you've said?

Either you're only saying really well-established stuff ("the sun is farther away than the moon"), or you're somehow failing to engage people who actually have reasons (they are there!), or your standards for validity are so high that all your own knowledge is suspect if held to the same standard.
