What it says depends on who is commenting. If you have people who vehemently disagree with your points saying that they love how you presented your side it says something different than if everyone is saying how right you are and how well you debunked the other side.

One says you're good at building bridges. The other says you're a well-liked member of your tribe.

You're right that we're at loggerheads here, so continuing isn't of much value. I do just want to reiterate that you have firmly avoided ever answering D's point that views on abortion are similar among men and women. You say he was dismissive of the real distress of women, but I don't see that in this post. He didn't stress the distress, but neither did he explicitly dismiss it. His most relevant statement: "A reasoned pro-choice position will put the right of women to control their bodies first. They will talk about the consequences of illegal abortions and the cost of pregnancies." That certainly sounds like it accepts the presence of distress, even if he's not leading the way to highlight it.
