When the "pursuit" is a wild goose chase, one needn't have all that much patience with the pursuit of "truth", beyond the patience that Liberals always are supposed to extend to everyone to pursue their interests whether rooted in wisdom or folly.

The critique of CRT is that it is mostly a wild goose chase.

Liberals are required by their outlook to embrace truth, as their central support of rationalism cannot work otherwise. This includes accepting the important insights revealed by Critical Race Theory scholars. And there are some really important insights. But the Liberal is required to always face the truth.

In Critical Race Theory this is not necessarily so. "Lived experience" and "personal narrative", for instance, are NOT required to be truthful objectively.
