Yeah, I think all of those others you mention were really important. But I think Douglass stands clearly above them. For instance, Garrison thought the United States was so flawed that it would have to be torn down, but Douglass I think was proved right that it was the aspiration of freedom enshrined in the Constitution that was the greatest weapon to use against slavery. Tubman’s bravery and effectiveness in both bringing slaves to safety and spying against the confederacy were legendary, but she didn’t have Douglass’ stature and standing and eloquence that so effectively rallied opposition to slavery.
