You didn't say much about the show.

Is it entertaining? Funny? Heartwarming? Sobering? Dramatic? Relatable? Does it have enough to do with the themes and feeling of the original so it deserves the title? (As far as you can tell from watching the pilot?)

From the way you wrote about it, one would think that the only reason for it to exist is to make (some) white folks mad. I know you're not ABC's PR department, but don't you have anything to say about the show's merits?
