You don't think the same guy who was in a panic about ratings if they didn't tell blatant falsehoods about January 6 etc. could possibly make "oh wow big media overlord" comments as exactly the right time to salvage some credibility and boost...ratings...do you? Especially when the comments hit other networks harder?
