You have a legal but not moral right to believe whatever you want. Dustin was talking about the moral right, as you would have noticed if you'd bothered reading the article.
The problem with trying to intervene legally is that any interference with freedom of conscience almost always leads to various sorts of terrible outcomes (authoritarianism, groupthink, dishonest expression, lack of dialog, etc. etc.). We can fruitfully encourage it, but not force it.
Nobody can be compelled to work, either. However, lazily leeching off of society is immoral. Lazy thinking is bad for similar reasons--you make everyone else work extra hard to compensate for you.
