You know perfectly well what Sergey means, and so does everyone else. Your fuss over definitions isn't in the least an issue of clarity.
Everyone knows full well that "racist" has also been used to mean the universal "racial bigotry" for decades, not simply a particular (admittedly historically really consequential and extremely bad) flavor of racial bigotry.
Thus, you are adopting a prescriptive linguistic attitude, perhaps consciously or subconsciously directed by postmodern thought and/or critical discourse analysis, to effect change through language. This works because it can illegitimately transport the visceral emotional response to a particular term with a particular universal meaning onto a restricted definition that favors the group you are defending.
In so doing, you are also broadcasting your tribal allegiance, covertly stating that you and your side are better than them.
Good job spreading bigotry and prejudice! Hopefully it was inadvertent.
