You tell a compelling story, and the growth you've exhibited is admirable. But I don't understand why you stress that you escaped one pipeline when it seems apparent that you just switched into another. Except for your personal experiences with people of Islamic background, you're sounding almost identical to the standard (anti-Israel) progressive in the United States.

The natural conclusion one draws after dropping Islamophobia is that, just like with every other major religion, the majority of Muslims tend to be nice, decent people. But, like with every other religion, there can be sizable numbers who are dogmatic, violent, hateful, whatever.

But here you are, just like the left-progressive pipeline delivers, talking about Gaza genocide without bothering to justify that it's a genocide rather than non-genocidal war crimes or a non-criminal humanitarian catastrophe, not condemning Hamas' terrorism--not even mentioning Hamas--just like everyone else on the decolonialist wing of progressives, which is most of the further-left part.

I guess if it's an apology for why you ended up in pipeline two rather than pipeline one, sure, it makes sense. Otherwise, you seem to have traded one set of blinders for another, which isn't really any better, just different.
